On Remembrance Day, Sunday 11th November, the morning service (All Age Worship and Parade) at St. Nicholas church will take place at 10.00 a.m. (not 10.30 a.m. as on other Sundays). The service will finish outside at the war memorial with the two minutes silence and laying of wreaths.

Solihull Cycling Club will be holding their annual cyclo cross races in Elmdon Park on Sunday 28th October from 8.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. In previous years this has caused some problems with parking for the 10.30 a.m. service at St. Nicholas. It would be a good idea to share lifts, if possible, in order to reduce the demand on parking space.

For several years now it has been our custom to hold a memorial service at the Parish Church of St Nicholas in Elmdon Park. Many have found this simple service a helpful time as they remember with thanksgiving the life of a loved one.
We are inviting all those families for whom we have conducted funerals to this year’s Memorial Service at 3 pm on Sunday 21st October. Again this year the service will be held in St Nicholas Church in Elmdon Park. We do hope that you will be able to join us on this special occasion.

Come and join us on a Harvest Stroll on Sunday 14th October. Meet us at 1.30 p.m. outside St. Nicholas church and we will take a walk around Elmdon Park for about an hour (or less depending on the weather and how much exercise you would like).
This is an all age activity so be young at heart, look forward to listening to some harvest stories, prayers about nature, feeding the ducks and perhaps some time in the playground. We hope to have a hot/cold drink afterwards in the Wilberforce Hall at St. Nicholas afterwards.
