We are delighted at the response to the appeal for funds to replace the roof at St. Stephen’s Church Centre. More than £8000 has now been raised, including gift aid reclaimed, towards our target of £15000.

A series of events are planned for December and January.

Birmingham Concert Band

On Monday 17th December, Birmingham Concert Band will be giving a concert at St. Stephen’s Church Centre. The concert starts at 7.30 pm and tickets cost £5.

Buddy Holly Tribute

There will be a Buddy Holly Tribute act performing at the Golden Acres, Rowood Drive on Saturday 22nd December. Entry is free but there will be an opportunity to contribute to the roof fund, together with a raffle.

Wassail Evening

We will be holding another Wassail Evening at St. Stephen’s Church Centre on Saturday 5th Januar, starting at 7 pm. Tickets are £2.50 (£1 for under-12s) and include mulled wine/squash and a mince pie.

Musical Evening with “Accord”

Banish those winter blues. Enjoy an evening of entertainment, with music and songs from stage and screen mixed with a range of pop ballads. At St. Stephen’s Church Centre on Saturday 26th January, starting at 7 pm. Tickets cost £10 and include a fish-and-chip supper.
