To help lead some of the newer worship songs in our services it is proposed to form an informal worship group to supplement and support the regular input from the organ and choir. As well as leading some items in services at St. Nicholas it is hoped that a small group could also help lead music at St. Stephen’s. If you would like to take part by singing and/or playing an instrument there will be a chance to play some of our newer songs after church on Sunday 4th May. Bring something to eat and stay to sing and play until about 2.30 pm.

You are invited to a Beer and Skittles evening at St. Stephen’s Church Centre on Saturday 26th April starting at 7 pm. Tickets cost £7 each and include a fish and chip supper. All proceeds to St. Stephen’s Roof Fund. Tickets are available from Joy Hall or Nita Stallard.

Drop into St. Nicholas’ Church any summer Sunday afternoon (4th May to 21st September) and you’ll find delicious home-made refreshments, a warm welcome, and a selection of hand-made cards.

Come and have a look around the church, a chat, or just enjoy the tea and cakes. We’re open from 3.00—5.00 pm.
