There will be a prayer walk on Saturday 7th June starting at Mapledene School (home of Sheldon Community Church), visiting all the places of worship in Hatchford Brook Churches Together for prayer. It is hoped to arrange lunch at St. Stephen’s at about 1pm, arriving at St. Nicholas at about 2pm. Prayers and volunteers for all or part of the walk to Rob Dean on 0121 743 6876.

The Hatchford Brook Churches Together Lent House Groups for 2008 start during the week commencing 10th February, for 5 weeks:

‘Pathways of Prayer’

Tuesdays: 10.30 am at 20 Bartley Close, starting 12th Feb. Leader Bob Spiller.

Fridays: 7.30 pm at Lyndon Methodist Church, starting 15th Feb. Leader Janice Hart.

‘Christ and the Chocolaterie’

Sunday: 7.30 pm at 40 Henley Crescent, starting 17th Feb. Leader Alan Thompson.

Groups will gather together at Lyndon Methodist Church on Wednesday 19th March at 7.30 pm. You are most welcome at the groups whether or not you normally attend one of our Bible Study groups.

Saturday 2nd June saw the second Hatchford Brook Churches Together prayer walk. Starting and finished at St. Mary’s, Hobs Moat, the walkers visited all the Hatchford Brook churches and stopped to pray at each and at other locations around the route, notably Land Rover.
